Zhang Hongwei currently serves as the Director of the Gas Technology Research Institute of PetroChina Kunlun Gas Co., Ltd. He graduated from Tongji University in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in Urban Gas Engineering, and later obtained a Master of Business Administration from Renmin University of China. He has successively held positions at the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications Design Institute, PetroChina Kunlun Gas Co., Ltd., and Kunlun Energy Co., Ltd., including Project Manager, Deputy General Manager of the Production and Operation Department, and General Manager of the Science and Technology Information Department. He also served as the Deputy Director of the Standardization Committee of the China City Gas Association.

With over 30 years of work experience in the gas industry, Zhang Hongwei has presided over the construction and management of the long-distance pipeline for the Henan Coal Gasification Project, a national key project. He organized the compilation of multiple company engineering and technical standards, established the technical standard system for urban gas of China Petroleum. He participated in the compilation of several national and industrial standards for the gas industry. He also led the compilation of the Natural Gas Sales Volume Branch of the *Master Plan for Digital and Intelligent China Petroleum*, and constructed a natural gas sales production and operation platform, business management platform, and infrastructure platform based on a cloud-lake architecture. He has presided over multiple scientific and technological projects and won the Second and third prizes of the Huxia Construction Science and Technology Award.
