Jonathan Berg
Honeywell LNG Process Technology Manager
Mr. Berg joined Air Products in 2003 after graduating from Lehigh University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. After several field assignments as part of the company’s Career Development Program, he joined the HyCO process design group. In this role, he worked primarily with Air Products’ PRISM membrane and pressure swing adsorption technology. Among his accomplishments is being a co-inventor for several patented CO2 removal processes, including the process used for carbon capture at the Port Arthur, TX facility. In 2008, Mr. Berg joined the LNG Process Technology group and has continually broadened his responsibilities to offer Honeywell LNG customers the most efficient and innovative liquefaction cycles. He has led numerous studies and projects within Honeywell LNG’s portfolio and has extensive experience designing, optimizing, and starting up liquefaction processes for both land-based and FLNG applications. In addition to his many contributions in optimizing the design of Honeywell LNG coil wound heat exchangers, Jon supported the startup and performance testing of the Coral South FLNG vessel off the coast of Mozambique, which is the first application of the AP-DMRTM liquefaction process. In 2023, Mr. Berg became the LNG Process Technology Manager where he manages the technical risk for all projects and the process engineering design methods.
