Khoa Dao is chief commercial officer, ConocoPhillips. He leads the organization responsible for commercial activities for natural gas, liquid natural gas (LNG), crude oil, NGLs and power.

Dao has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry across upstream, midstream, and power generation. He previously served in leadership roles as chief executive officer of Australia Pacific LNG Pty Ltd, the largest producer and supplier of natural gas to the domestic market in eastern Australia and a major exporter of LNG to Asia; president, ConocoPhillips Australia; and vice president, Asset Development & Commercial, ConocoPhillips Canada.

Dao joined ConocoPhillips in 1991 as an engineer and worked in various engineering, operations, commercial, business development and leadership roles in the United States, Vietnam, Indonesia, Canada and Australia.

Dao is chair of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council for ConocoPhillips. He previously served on the boards of Queensland Resources Council, Australian Petroleum Production & Exploration Association, American Chamber of Commerce, Safer Together Safety Leaders Group and Sonshine Community Services.

Dao graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering.
