Dr Excel T. Ukpohor
Excel is a Business Performance Lead at Shell Global International Netherlands and a staff member of Nigeria LNG Limited with experience in Production Operations, Asset Management, Production Excellence, and Projects.
He has a background in Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences (HND) from the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Nigeria; BSc in Geology from Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria; a Diploma in Operations Management from the University of Cape Town, South Africa; a Master's degree in Process Technology and Management from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Uk; MBA in Energy Sustainability from the University of Cumbria, Cumbria, UK; Doctorate of Business Administration with emphasis in Management at the Grand Canyon University, Arizona, USA.
Excel's professional certifications further validate his expertise and commitment to quality. He is a certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence (CMQOE-ASQ) by the American Society of Quality and is currently pursuing an Associate Business Strategy Professional (ABSP™) from the Institute of Business Strategy, Texas, USA.
He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the International Society of Automation and the Institute of Gas Engineers and Managers. He is the current Secretary General of the Nigeria Gas Association and also a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants.
He is a Youth Development Strategist and founder of the Youth Resource Centre, Bonny Island, a non-profit organization that aims to raise leaders and role models in our community through education. He is currently working on the Young Options Project, A Business Strategist for Startups and Business Coach for under-40 CEOs.
Loves playing badminton and chess.
He is married with four kids.
