Maria-Olivia Torcea is responsible for BloombergNEF’s coverage on upstream oil and gas emissions, with particular focus on methane. BloombergNEF is a strategic research provider covering global commodity markets and the disruptive technologies driving the transition to a low-carbon economy. Prior to joining BloombergNEF, Maria spent three years in industry as a geophysicist. She holds a BSc in Earth Science from the University of Glasgow and an MSc in Petroleum Geoscience from Imperial College London. She is based in London.
