Dr. Huidi Yu, Senior Engineer of the Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development (RIPED), CNPC. Huidi Yu now works at the Department of Intelligent Control and Equipment (Interdisciplinary Research Center), RIPED. He focus on the research in the fields of green hydrogen production from renewable energy, CO2 capture and chemical conversion, mainly responsible for the research and development of high-performance electrocatalytic materials. During the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, he and his team, on behalf of CNPC, have provide technical support for igniting the only "green hydrogen" torch, marking the first in the nearly century long history of the Olympics.
Dr. Huidi Yu has rich experience in the research of two-dimensional carbon material graphdiyne and its energy storage and conversion applications. He has published 26 papers in top international journals in the field of materials and chemistry, including J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Nat. Commun., Adv. Mater. .
