TIMOR GÁS & PETRÓLEO, E.P. (referred to as "TIMOR GAP") is Timor-Leste's national oil company, established by the government in 2011. It is responsible for upstream, downstream, and Tasi Mane Project development. In upstream activities, TIMOR GAP explores both onshore and offshore, holding multiple Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs), including four offshore and four onshore PSCs at various exploration stages.
In downstream operations, TIMOR GAP is tasked with storage, refining, processing, and distribution of petroleum and petrochemical products, including fuel supply and retail. Through its subsidiaries—WESTSTAR-GAP Aviation, Unipessoal, Lda., TIMOR GAP Oil & Gas Marine and Logistics, Unipessoal, Lda., and South Horizon—it provides aviation and marine logistics services to the industry.
TIMOR GAP manages the Tasi Mane project, which includes industrial clusters in Suai and Natarbora on the southern coast, as well as support infrastructures such as supply bases, refineries, petrochemical facilities, and a liquefied natural gas plant.
