Hossam Elmasry has joined the GECF as an Energy Analyst within Gas Market Analysis department in 2023. His area of interest is in the global and regional upstream oil and gas exploration and production. He graduated from the School of Petroleum Engineering, Suez University in 2012. He joined the American University in Cairo as a research assistant. Later he joined eni in Egypt as a resvervoir and petroleum engineer and got promoted till became a senior reservoir engineer and reservoir studies section head. He was awarded the prestigious UK Chevening Scholarship in 2016 and he got his masters degree in energy economics from University of Aberdeen in 2017, with distinction. He was selected to join the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum Technical Office as a lead analyst in 2012. In addition, Mr. Hossam Elmasry has published more than 5 research papers.
