Pierre holds a master degree in science and technology from the ENSAM engineering university of Bordeaux and has been working in the field of inspection for the last 20 years.
His current role is head of inspection at TEREGA’s gas storage plant since 2015. He manages a small team of inspectors and his main responsibilities are to establish inspection strategies, to identify degradation mechanisms and to prescribe appropriate control methods on pressure equipment. He is also the key interface between the French technical regulator (DREAL) and the operator TEREGA.
Prior to joining TEREGA, Pierre has worked 5 years for APAVE (French third party inspection company) on inspection activities, construction supervision or third expertise and has built up significant expertise in the areas of nuclear power and in O&G for pressure vessels, pipes and vibration monitoring and prevention. He was the subject matter expert for vibrations and pressure vessels.
