Misan is an experienced gas industry professional and an accomplished sales and marketing professional with an exceptional track record spanning over 25 years. She has delivered on business strategies, revenue growth, process optimisation, and excellent customer service programs. She worked at Oando PLC and Axxela Limited for two decades. In her last role, she was responsible for marketing new business development projects in Nigeria's gas and power markets. She previously worked in diverse roles in the oil and gas industry, having experience in operations, corporate social responsibility, and shared services.

Misan has served on the NGA council as Secretary General and Deputy Secretary General and is the current NGA International Conference & Exhibitions Organising Committee Chair. She was responsible for the successful Nigerian Pavilion at the World Gas Conference in 2018 and 2022, held in Washington DC, USA and Daegu, South Korea, respectively.

Misan has a B.Sc. in Computer Science, a Master's in Business Administration and a Master's in International Events Management. She is a Chartered Industrial Gas Consultant and a  Doctoral Researcher at Leeds Beckett University, UK.
