Dr. Hongbing Chen is currently a professor and the vice-president of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture of China. He has been awarded the honors of EU Marie Curie Fellow, Beijing Science and Technology Rising Star, Outstanding Talent of Beijing Municipal Organization Department, and Beijing Young Top-Notch Talent. Prof. Chen’s research interests include PV/T technology, low temperature waste heat recovery, nano-fluids with PCM, and building energy technologies as well. He has been the PI and/or co-PI of more than 40 projects and has published more than 150 academic papers. He has also published 2 academic monographs, edited 3 textbooks, participated 3 national industry standards, authorised more than 10 invention patents, and won a number of provincial and ministerial scientific and technological achievement awards.
