ZHANG Yi currently serves as the President of Gas and Heating Branch of China Civil Engineering Society, known as "China Gas Society" in IGU. He graduated from Tianjin University with a major in Environmental Engineering and holds a Master's degree in Engineering, with the title of Professor of Engineering. Previously, he served as Assistant President of China Construction Technology Group Co., Ltd..
His professional expertise lies in municipal industry design, scientific research, and enterprise management. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he has been recognized with several honorary titles including model worker of Tianjin, exemplary individual who made contributions during the "Tenth Five Year Plan" in Tianjin, and outstanding party worker of China Construction Technology Group.
