Snam
Alessandro Moretti, after graduation in Electrical Engineering at the University of Pavia, completed his studies with a Master Degree in Economy of Energy at “Scuola Superiore Enrico Mattei” in 1998. In the same year he joined Snam S.p.A, major operator of gas infrastructures in Italy.
He worked in different positions in Snam (in the Infrastructure Planning and Commercial Department and in the Operations Department and especially in the Dispatching Centre, with major interest in Gas Quality Management, Technical Development and Operational Planning.
He also worked with international technical groups, mostly at European level. Since 2019 he is manager at the Technical Department of Snam. He is also a longstanding active member of the Transmission Committee of the International Gas Union.
