Sheng Ma, Senior Engineer, is currently the Executive Deputy General Manager of Beijing BG Beidou Technology Investment Co., Ltd. He has long been engaged in the research and development of geographic information and IoT devices for the energy industry. His team created Beidou high-precision PPB-level gas leak detection Integrated solution, and has accomplished over 100,000km gas pipelines inspection nationwide, enhancing gas pipeline network safety. He also leads the research and development(R&D) of a series of Beidou high-precision gas leak detection equipments, with relevant indicators reaching internationally advanced levels.
Born in 1987 in Anhui Province, China, he graduated in 2014 with a Ph.D. from the Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has published more than 20 journal papers and filed over 20 patents.
