Li Shengguo is currently the deputy general manager of Beijing Gas Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Beijing Gas Group), and also serves as the director of the Smart Gas Grid Committee of China  Gas Association and the vice chairman of Beijing Underground Pipeline Association.

Li Shengguo has been working in the gas industry for nearly 30 years, always engaged in key technological research and development of gas pipeline networks and production operation management. He has organized and carried out multiple technological innovation achievements, providing effective support for the safe, stable and efficient supply of gas.

In 2005, he was awarded the title of Economic and Technological Innovation Model by Beijing Federation of Trade Unions. In 2008, his project "Innovative Pipeline Leak Detection System to Ensure City Gas Safety" won the second prize of the 23rd Beijing Enterprise Management Modernization Innovation Achievement Award. He has published three articles including "Analysis of Tracer Location Technology for Buried Gas Pipeline Leaks" and "The Method of Intelligent Operation of Terminal Control Equipment in Intelligent Gas Pipeline Network - 'Tiers Operation'". He has led the completion of more than 10 enterprise projects and applied for 12 patents, among which 6 invention and 4 utility model patents have been authorized.
