Sinopec International Cooperation Dept.

Dr. WU Ruikun, Deputy Managing Director of Sinopec International Cooperation Dept., is in charge of Sinopec’s long-term LNG business and overseas investments in upstream oil and gas fields, midstream LNG liquefaction facilities, and new energies including CCUS. His capacity also includes Sinopec’s overseas safety management. Prior to joining Sinopec in 2021, Dr. Wu worked for China National Petroleum Corporation in its overseas assets including Canada, Niger, Sudan and Kazakhstan for over 20 years. Dr. Wu graduated from China University of Petroleum with a Ph.D. degree in petroleum engineering.
