Snam
Emanuele Santo leads Snam Global Solutions, a business unit of Snam focused on providing tailor-made technical solutions to global gas infrastructure operators, supporting them in their journey towards a multi-molecule energy infrastructure of the future. Under his leadership, Snam has served primary gas infrastructure operators worldwide, with a special focus on pipeline operators, underground gas storage operators, natural gas power plant operators, and down-stream stakeholders in the natural gas and hydrogen ecosystem.
Prior to that, Emanuele gained extensive international experience in service & equipment manufacturing, engineering & construction, and industrial IoT companies. He started his career in reservoir evaluation operations with Schlumberger in Mexico, before joining General Electric Oil & Gas (today Baker Hughes), where he spent +11 years leading several functions and businesses across product development, sales and commercial, strategy and marketing; most recently he managed the Digital Solutions Service business in Europe and Russia CIS. He holds a MSc. in Mechanical Engineering, with dissertation in Aerospace, at Polytechnic Institute, Italy and École Normale Supérieure, France and a MBA at IMD International Business School, Switzerland.
