Gergely is a market operations expert at FGSZ, Gas Transmission System Operator of Hungary (MOL Group), with several years of experience in Central European energy markets. In his current role he has been involved in market expansion and integrity projects, commercial advisories and platform operation. He is actively working on the support and development of RBP (Regional Booking Platform) to comply with European regulations and standards shaped by various network codes and to fully cover the gas transmission business with digital solutions. By promoting the activities of RBP he aimes to create a more transparent, competitive, consumer-oriented energy market with non-discriminatory access to all parties.
Before joining FGSZ he has pursued economic and international relations studies, he has gained experience at large multinationals (KPMG, ExxonMobil) through assisting sales strategy development, participating in cross-border transactions, process improvement, data analysis as well as client advisory and due diligent tasks.
