Amir Foster has made significant contributions to the development of the natural gas sector, both in Israel and the Eastern Mediterranean region, by implementing strategic initiatives.

Amir Foster worked extensively as a Senior Energy Analyst in Israel's financial market. In 2012, he founded the "Foster Consultancy Group," which specializes in the energy sector, with a focus on natural gas. Among the clients were major gas companies, government ministries, and various industry-leading organizations from Israel and abroad. In 2016, Amir Foster was appointed Head of Strategy and Research at the Israeli Natural Gas Trade Association, and since 2019, he has served as Executive Director.

Since August 2022, Amir has been the chairman of the Strategy Committee in the International Gas Union (IGU).
