Mr. Tomas Diosi graduated and completed postgraduate studies from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Zilina and completed studies at the Technical University of Kosice. Since 2006 he has worked at Gas Storage CZ, where he has held various positions in the areas of operations, investments and development.
Since 2015 he has managed the operation of underground gas storage facilities as Head of Asset Operations, since last year as COO in Board of Directors.
Gas Storage CZ operates a total of 6 underground gas storage facilities in the Czech Republic, of which 4 are depleted fields, 1 aquifer and 1 rock cavern. With a total volume of 2.7 billion m3, Gas Storage CZ is the biggest operator of gas storage capacity in the Czech Republic, with storage facilities capable of covering up to one third of the annual gas consumption of the Czech Republic. Currently, the company is also developing other activities, especially in preparation for the use of hydrogen in the gas system.
