Leda is also a Visiting Fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, Senior Adviser at the Brazilian think tank FGV Energia, member of the Infrastructure Council of the Sao Paulo Federation of Industries and the Advisory Council of the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain. She is a director at WILL-Women in Leadership in Latin America.

With a career spanning over 35 years, she was Vice President of New Ventures, President of BP Brazil, and VP for BP Solar, BP Gas & Power Regulatory Affairs and VP for Pan American Energy. Prior to BP, Ieda was CEO of gas distribution company COMGAS/SP.
