Geological Engineer from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos de Lima- Peru. PhD in Earth Sciences at the Paul Sabatier University of Toulouse, France. She has more than 20 years of experience in the sector.

She has participated in research projects and regional studies in bilateral agreements such as the Assistance Project for the Regulation of the Peruvian Energy Sector (PARSEP) with the Canadian Government, the United State Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) and the Research Institute for Development (IRD) with the French Government in the Potential Evaluation Group of PERUPETRO in 2001.

Currently, Dr. Ysabel Calderón is in charge of the Exploration Management of PERUPETRO S.A.

On the other hand, she has published several national and international publications on technical aspects for the promotion of Peruvian sedimentary basins hydrocarbon potential. Likewise, she is the technician in charge of presentations during promotional campaigns for potential investors in the hydrocarbon sector.
