Mr. Diaz is the China Gas Venture President of ExxonMobil China Investment Co., Ltd. since 2021, and he is responsible for establishing ExxonMobil’s Natural Gas Downstream business in China.

Before coming to China, Mr. Diaz spent 6 years in Qatar where he held multiple management roles, last being Vice-President & New Opportunities Manager, Upstream Oil & Gas, where he oversaw opportunities to grow ExxonMobil’s LNG business globally.

Prior to Qatar, he was Vice-President, ExxonMobil LNG Market Development, in Exxon Mobil Corporation’s Gas & Power Marketing Company in Houston.

During Mr. Diaz’s 30 years with ExxonMobil, he served in various professional and management positions in Fairfax, Virginia, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, and Nicaragua.

Mr. Diaz holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Texas at Austin.
