Earlier in his career, he worked at Sonatrach, a major national oil company, providing strategic analyses, evaluating business opportunities, and supporting the company's strategic planning processes. His expertise includes gas market developments, energy modeling, policy impact assessments, and strategic analyses for oil and gas projects. He has a keen interest in evaluating energy market developments and the role of hydrocarbons in the energy transition.
