Mr. Shi Pingyang, having nearly 30-year experience in the energy sector, is a leading expert of Shanghai in this industry. Mr. Shi is the Vice President of Shenergy Group Co., Ltd. and serves as the Party Secretary and Chairman of Shanghai Gas Co., Ltd. Besides, he is acting as a role of Deputy Director of China Urban Gas Association and President of Shanghai Gas Industry Association.

Mr. Shi is a Senior Engineer, graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University with a Bachelor Degree of Engineering. Starting from Year 2017, he served in multiple roles over time, including Deputy General Manager and then General Manager of the Investment Department at Shenergy (Group) Co., Ltd.; Deputy Party Secretary and Executive Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Gas Co., Ltd.

Mr. Shi Pingyang, characterized by outstanding leadership and spirit of innovation, has made significant contributions to Shanghai's energy development. With his leading, stable energy supply is strongly secured as the total natural gas consumption in Shanghai has climbed over 10bcm per annum. Mr Shi presided over various key energy infrastructure projects in Shanghai, including the construction and upgrade of Municipal Natural Gas Production, Supply, Storage and Distribution System. He takes the lead and brings the project of utilizing hydrogen and biogas to make green methanol into reality in Shanghai, providing a demonstration of achieving green-oriented transition of energy for megalopolis.
