Cecilia Gatti, born in Rome in 1968, has been Executive Director for Institutional Affairs at Snam since November 2022. 

She holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Turin. Cecilia began her career in 1992 at Italgas, where she held various positions until 2003. She then worked for Energy Advisors Srl between 2003 and 2011, starting as a consultant and progressing to a management position in 2005. 

In 2006 she began her collaboration with QE Quotidiano Energia Srl and later with various institutional stakeholders.  

From 2009 to 2011, she worked closely with the Ministry of Economic Development, supporting the Head of the Energy Department of MISE, with a particular focus on liaising with the Authority for Electricity and Gas.

In 2011, she was appointed Assistant to the Members and to the Chairman of the Board of the Authority for Electricity, Gas and Water. In 2014, she became Head of External Relations, Institutional Affairs and Documentation at the Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and the Environment (ARERA). 

In 2019, she joined Snam as Manager of Relations with Italian and European Institutions and then, in the following two years, became Regulatory & Institutional Affair Director at Axpo.
