Chen Dong is a Senior Engineer with a Master's degree in Engineering. He currently serves as a Senior Corporate Expert at the Tarim Oilfield Exploration and Development Research Institute of China National Petroleum Corporation and is the Director of the Natural Gas Development Research Department.
He has long been engaged in research on ultra-deep complex gas field reservoir engineering, numerical simulation, and enhanced oil recovery. He has made significant achievements in the efficient development of ultra-deep fractured low-porosity sandstone gas reservoirs and enhanced oil recovery. He led a team to tackle world-class challenges in the development of ultra-deep fractured low-porosity sandstone gas reservoirs and condensate gas reservoirs, contributing positively to the Tarim oil and gas production equivalent exceeding 30 million tons and promoting the economic and social development of Xinjiang.
Mr. Chen was born in 1985 in Sichuan province, China and graduated in 2007 from Xi'an Shiyou University, China and got Master's degree in 2010 from Southwest Petroleum University, China.
