I, Bert Wikkerink, have a B.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry and a Post-Bachelor in Business Administration. I have been working in a wide range of multi-disciplinary consultancy and research projects in the field of gas distribution materials technology at Kiwa Technology. My broad technical expertise has proven valuable in various fields of application, ranging from characterisation methods for plastics materials to LCA of gas distribution mains. Since October 1996 I put my organisational talents in the management of a broad range of projects in various fields of gas distribution technology and between January 2002 and January 2005 also as part-time Manager Information Technology, responsible for the IT infrastructure within the organization for the location Apeldoorn. From February 2005 till April 2019 I was Unit Manager Piping Systems, Materials and Applications. 

Meanwhile, I am Committee Manager of  ISO/TC138/SC4 ‘Plastics pipes and fittings for the supply of gaseous fuels’ for more than 20 years up to now.  I am also active member in several CEN and ISO Working Groups.

Since May 2019 I am Senior Consultant at Kiwa Technology, managing  e.g. methane emissions reduction projects including OGMP 2.0 reporting.
