Tony Wimpenny is Director and Co-founder of Bohr Limited. Tony has served various technical and executive management roles in gas systems engineering businesses over the past 15 years, specialising in novel gas sampling and analysis techniques and technologies, and enabling growth of biomethane and hydrogen in gas grids and industry.
Tony serves many technical and industrial committees, including BSI, CEN and ISO committees developing future standards related to natural gas and LNG, biomethane, carbon dioxide and hydrogen; covering topics of gas quality, measurement and emissions reduction.
Tony is on the Board of Trustees of the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers (IGEM) in UK and has served various roles within the Gas Processors Association Europe and served as stakeholder on several European-wide initiatives through the EMPIR national metrology network and other such technical forums.
Tony is a passionate advocate for positive change, and works with gas distribution networks globally to identify and explore opportunities and options for digitalisation and decarbonisation through technology.
