Ashish Ranjan is an analyst for the South Asian Global Gas and LNG teams at S&P Global Commodity Insights and is based in Gurgaon, India. His focus is on analyzing, forecasting, and publishing research insights on gas/LNG demand for natural gas markets and the regulatory environment in Asia, primarily South Asia. Prior to joining S&P Global, he was a consultant at Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB), India’s midstream and downstream regulator. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in petroleum engineering with a specialization in upstream. His experience and education provide a diverse background, among other things, covering the full value chain of the oil and gas industry.
