Dr. Bo Fu is the Founder and CEO of Oiler.ai, a tech company developing next generation visual based gas emissions monitoring technology. He received his Ph.D.from the University of California, Davis, and conducted postdoctorial research in Machine Learning (ML) at Cornell university. His research focuses on Optical Gas Imaging，Machine Learning, and Dynamics and Control.
Dr. Fu is an authority in the field of Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) algorithms design. Prior to Oiler, he was with Honeywell. He was the leading algorithms engineer responsible for the design of a novel ML based gas and flame detection algorithm for an industrial-grade OGI product. He also designed the video-based flow rate measurement algorithms for the GM650 series of products at Oiler.ai.
