Mr. Chen Jiongshan, as the Deputy Director of Digital Energy Management for the mainland utility section of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas), has been engaged in gas engineering, operational informatization, digitization, digital energy empowerment, data mining, and related fields for a long time. He is a Certified Constructor, a Certified Safety Engineer, a Gas Engineer, a DAMA Certified Data Governance Associate, a Licensed Chinese Medicine Pharmacist, and a Member of the IGU Task Force on Digitalization.
Mr. Chen was born in 1989 in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, China. He studied Chemical Engineering as an exchange student at the Saimaa University of Applied Sciences in Finland in 2010. He graduated from Tianjin University of Science and Technology with a bachelor's degree in 2011 and obtained a master's degree from Guizhou Minzu University in 2019.
