Wendy Yong is a Manager at AFRY, based in Singapore, with over a decade of experience in the Asia Pacific energy markets. She has been involved in commercial advisories, transaction support, and due diligence works across gas/LNG, power, renewables, emerging fuels, and carbon capture and storage (CCS). She has acted as a commercial advisor to IPPs, investors, and industry stakeholders in South Asia and Southeast Asia. She has also worked on gas-to-power projects at the intersection of upstream gas and downstream electricity markets, examining gas/LNG, renewables, power market landscapes, demand-supply dynamics, regulatory market structure, as well as power sector modelling.
Before joining AFRY, Wendy worked at energy research and consulting firms, a power system energy simulation company, and a downstream LNG infrastructure developer. She has also served as a SME on the Greater China and East Asian oil and gas markets and managed the Asian downstream refining investment research.
Wendy holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Cambridge, a BBA (Honours) in Management and Operations & Supply Chain Management from National University of Singapore.
