Yan Haijun is a senior engineer at PetroChina Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration & Development, mainly engaged in natural gas reservoir development evaluation, development plan formulation, and research on enhanced gas recovery technology. His achievements have won 5 first prizes at the provincial and ministerial levels, 1 first prize and 1 second prize at the bureau level; Published 32 academic papers, including 26 SCI/EI indexed papers; Published 3 monographs; Applied for 23 invention patents and granted 10 patents; Obtained 2 software copyrights.

Born in Henan in 1983, graduated from Daqing Petroleum Institute with a bachelor's degree in 2006, obtained a master's degree from China Petroleum Exploration and Development Research Institute in 2009, and obtained a doctoral degree from China University of Geosciences (Beijing) in 2024.
