Adrian holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Process Engineering and a Master's degree in Oil and Gas Enterprise Management. With over a decade of experience in the gas and LNG industry, he has developed extensive expertise in this field.
Since joining the GECF in 2017 as a Research Assistant, Adrian has advanced to the role of Gas Market Analyst within the Gas Market Analysis Department (GMAD). In this capacity, he is responsible for monitoring and analysing short-term developments in the LNG industry. His areas of focus include global LNG trade, gas/LNG contracting and pricing, project development, and carbon-neutral LNG initiatives.
Prior to his tenure at GECF, Mr. Sookhan served at the Ministry of Energy in Trinidad and Tobago. There, he was tasked with monitoring and evaluating the technical and financial obligations under Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) and Exploration & Production (E&P) Licenses. His comprehensive background and hands-on experience in both governmental and international roles make him a valuable asset to the gas and LNG sector.
