Ningke Peng joined Snam in 2019. He is Managing Director and President of Snam China. Snam is a leading and the largest gas infrastructure investor and operator in Europe.
Prior to Snam, Ningke served The Dow Chemical Company for nearly 12 years in various leadership roles including Director of International Government Affairs, Director of Public Affairs of Asia Pacific and, Vice President of Great China.
During his Dow tenure, Ningke also served the Board of Governors of American Chamber of Commerce in China as Vice Chairman (AmCham China); Founding Director and Co-chair of the Executive Board of China-US Energy Cooperation Program (ECP); Council Member of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.
Before Dow Chemical, Ningke served BP for nearly 14 years, where he took multi roles of technical, commercial and leadership in Beijing, Shenzhen, London and Houston. Before BP, Ningke served CNOOC for 3 years.
Ningke is author of several articles on Sino-US relationship and energy in leading Chinese financial magazine Cai Jing.
Ningke got his BSc degree of Geophysics from Peking University, China. He also has a post-graduate certificate of management from the Western Management Institute of Beijing / Staffordshire University (UK).
