Dr. Nadia Haddoum-Kherfellah is a Project Manager at DCP-BDM of SONATRACH, with 27 years of experience in the energy sector and five years as a university lecturer. Since joining SONATRACH in 1998, she has led major projects in Exploration & Production (E&P), contributing significantly to the company’s strategic objectives.
A recognized expert, she has authored 19 journal articles and over 90 international conference papers. She has supervised four MSc projects, mentored six graduate students, and participated in various academic and professional juries. Actively engaged in the scientific community, she contributed to the European Association of Geoscientists & Engineers (EAGE) 2016 and several steering committees, including the North Africa Drilling Conference. She also played a key role in establishing the Gas Exporting Countries Forum Institute in Algeria.
Dr. Haddoum-Kherfellah was honored as a distinguished woman in Science, Technology, and Engineering by the International Forum of Distinguished Arab Women. She is also a certified trainer at SONATRACH and a member of the technical expert committee of APPO-SNH.
Since 2019, she has been leading studies on renewable energy, including solar, wind, and geothermal, while advancing sustainability projects in green hydrogen, carbon footprint reduction, and lithium production from brine water.
