Farhan Khan is currently working as Environmental Regulatory Compliance Lead at QatarEnergy LNG.
CAREER HISTORY:
Farhan has over 20 years of environmental management experience serving in different capacities in Oil and Gas organizations and environmental projects within the GCC region. Farhan’s key areas of expertise include environmental impact assessment, strategic environmental planning, wastewater management, environmental sustainability, Environmental Management Systems (EMS), GHG management, project permitting, marine assessment and compensation projects. He is driving water improvement projects in QatarEnergy LNG to achieve water sustainability across the organization. He is instrumental in establishing various water research committees and involving academia and national research institutions for industrial water research.
EDUCATION & AWARDS:
Farhan holds a master’s degree in chemistry and Masters in Sustainable Development from Aligarh Muslim University, India and has written over 20 technical papers/ presentations in conferences on various environmental management issues of Oil & Gas Industry.
