Maggie serves as the Chief China Officer of Cheniere Energy, in charge of market origination and government affairs in China. She joined Cheniere Energy in Singapore in 2015 and then moved to China to set up Cheniere’s China Office in 2017. Under her leadership, Cheniere has signed long-term SPAs (Sale and Purchase Agreements) with CNPC, SinoChem, ENN and Foran. Maggie started her LNG career with Mitsui London in 2004 as LNG trader/business development manager. She has been involved in the China LNG business since 2006 and successfully executed many earliest LNG spot transactions into China. Afterwards she joined Morgan Stanley’s LNG trading desk in London in 2010 and later relocated to Singapore to expand the LNG trading business in the Asia Pacific region. In Singapore, she subsequently worked for the top commodity trading firm - Glencore from 2013. As an industry leader with nearly two decades of experience, Maggie has witnessed market reform in Europe and translated her international experiences into promoting LNG trade and cooperation between Asia and currently China with the global market., Maggie has devoted herself to the LNG industry and made outstanding contribution to the industry development.
