Hu Junmei currently holds the position of Quantitative Research Analyst at R&D Center, CNOOC Gas & Power Group. The work primarily focuses on analyzing supply and demand trends in the gas market, price dynamics, and low-carbon solutions. She leads the enterprise level research project "The Relationship Between Climate Data and Natural Gas Market Indicators".

Before joining the CNOOC, experience was gained through participation in the Asian Development Bank’s climate risk assessment project and the Environmental Defense Fund’s clean energy transition project as an intern.

She graduated from Peking University, majoring in environmental economics and policy, and obtained a master’s degree in environmental science.
