Mr. Zhenning Cao, as Deputy Manager of Resource and Marketing Department at Shanghai LNG Company Ltd., is responsible for gas related marketing, LNG procurement and contract management. Also, he has extensive working experience on oil and gas production and operations with state-owned companies.
He earned his doctoral degree in Petroleum Economics and Policy from the University of Dundee, Scotland. His main research interest covers natural gas and LNG markets in China and Asia Pacific. His paper on the role of LNG in Shanghai’s natural gas market was also selected for presenting at the 19th International LNG Conference (LNG2019) in Shanghai in April 2019.
