Adnan joined GTT in France since 2001. He established GTT China office in 2016 and has been serving as General Manager of GTT China. Adnan is an expert in Energy & shipping and particularly the LNG industry and holds multiple invention patents. He is a committee member of world's leading liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility standard NFPA 59A and the International Gas Union (IGU) LNG committee. Adnan is also Chair of the Shipbuilding committee of the European Chamber in China. Adnan led the technology and market Ethane shipping  and land storage membrane tanks. Under his leadership, the world's first VLEC (Very Large Ethane Carrier) was put into operation in 2016, and the world's first large onshore membrane LNG tank  started operation in 2023. A new ethane ship type, ULEC (Ultra Large Ethane Carrier), has been successfully implemented in real project and target to start commercial operation in 2027.

Adnan holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as an Executives MBA degree from the renowned French business school HEC. Adnan has been appointed as Foreign French Trade Advisor appointed by the French Prime Minister. In 2022, Adnan was awarded the "Magnolia Memorial Award" by the Shanghai Municipal Government in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the city and in China. Currently, Adnan holds permanent residency status in China.

Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT)
